What services can I receive if I decide to parent?
If you decide to parent, you will be invited to participate in the following programs:
JOURNEY TO MOTHERHOOD MENTORING PROGRAM
In Journey to Motherhood, you will be paired with a mentor. This mentor is a woman from the local community who is a wife and mother. The mentor comes alongside of you to offer both friendship and support during her pregnancy.
You and your mentor meet together regularly to discuss different topics related to pregnancy and parenting. The mentor shares experiences and answers questions to help provide insight as you prepare to be a mom.
Various incentives are available to you for participating in Journey to Motherhood. In this way, you not only receive emotional support during your pregnancy but also some of the physical items needed for your new baby’s arrival.
SHOWERS OF HOPE
As a Christian organization, we enjoy the support of numerous churches in the High Country. Because of our commitment to come alongside of you and to “love mercy,” we have partnered with area churches to throw baby showers for you and your baby. This a great way for you to receive much needed items in preparation for the birth of your child.
YES, SHE CAN! SCHOLARSHIP FUND
If you are pregnant in college, we understand that you need resources to empower you to become an educated mom. The “Yes, She Can!” Scholarship Fund is our way of ensuring that you fulfill your life and educational goals. Annual recipients of the scholarship receive up to $5,000 for an academic year to be applied toward tuition and fees. To be considered, you need to be fill out an application, compose a short essay, and be interviewed by the scholarship committee.
